The military intelligence and the internal security organization move to arrest and detain bodaboda 2010 Patron Abudallah Kitatta has exposed more to those who kept on asking why the court martial was detaining him yet he was a civilian .
According to our sources in the military, we have learnt that Kitatta was being misled by some bean weavils in the police force to prepare a deadly move to harm president Yoweri Museveni.
According to this source, Kitatta was going to use the usual tactics of stopping president Museveni on his moves especially in Kampala.
“The security around the president got concerned about the way Kitatta was mobilizing his followers especially bodaboda and taxi drivers to intercept the president. He had a deadly agenda which we are still investigating . its reportedly said he was plotting to assassinate M7,” our source added.
This website has been told that security verified this intelligence information and related it to the information they had gathered after the murder of former police force spokesperson Andrew Felix Kaweesi and senior principle state prosecutor Joan Kagezi. The SFC briefed the president who consulted other security organs and verified that his NRM cadre had some hidden intentions against him.
We have also learnt that the military intelligence landed on the credible information that there is a group of people who were planning to attack Luzira prison harm Kitatta or take him to un known destination.
“You know there are many enemies of this government, we were told they were planning to attack Luzira prison and harm Kitatta / go aware with him and later put the blame on the government . they are now searching and wanting to dismantle Kitatta with fear that he might be used as awitness to pin Kale kayihura” source told this website.
The blower also added that Kitatta, while at Luzira prison, was receiving a lot of information from his security colleagues who were behind him when he was committing the allegedly crimes and Some of this information was aimed at assisting Kitatta not to reveal the names of other people he was working with.
“No one is allowed to see Kitatta here in the military prison apart from a few of his relatives and He talks to them in the presence of a military intelligence officer and we know they cannot exchange any deadly information from here,” the source added.
Museveni was also informed that Kitatta was conniving with security officers in Uganda police to take boda boda 2010 cyclists to Rwanda under the guise of training them in modern ways of running their business when their actual agenda was to train and equip boda boda cyclists in sophiscated ways of spying on Uganda’s security for Rwanda.
There is now fear that the people who were trying to use Kitatta might come for him if he is detained in a civilian prison, in fear that he might implicate them. That is why he has to be under the watchful eye of the army for the safety of his life.
Kitatta was charged together with 10 others including; Matia Ssenfuka, Joel Kibirige, Hassan Ssemata, Jonathan Kayondo, Ssengooba Hassan, Sande Ssemwogerere, John Ssebandeke, Hussein Mugema, Fred Bwanika and Amon Twinomujuni with a number of of offences related to unlawful possession of military hardware.
